Did you know that the Carnegie Public Library provides access to thousands of magazines, poems, newspaper articles and other information sources through its online databases? And in many cases, you don't even have to come to the library to have access. If you have a home computer and a library card, you can log on using your card number. For questions about these resources, please contact the reference department at 719-846-6841. Remember, you must have a library card in order to use these resources from home.

This resource provides thousands of easy-to-read entries about mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, dinosaurs and prehistoric animals. Interlibrary Loan Service
Interlibrary Loan service provides patrons with a way to obtain materials their local library does not have in its collection. This link will allow you to find out if another area library has what you want.
Once you enter the site (at http://swift.aclin.org), choose the button on the left that says "BibSearch" and then choose one of the options in the drop down box in the box. Choosing "ALL LIBRARIES" will result in a long wait with many hits. Choosing "SouthEast Search" will take less time because it will only search libraries in southeastern Colorado, but the results will not be as complete. Interlibrary Loan Services information.
